Community: Communications: FamilyEd

An eight-month survey collected information from family members of pre-college and first year college students. From this collection, developed the FamilyEd newspaper and a website for families. The newspaper speaks to family issues and offers a full array of resources to help with the transition for families and for their students. Circulation of the newspaper is to 15,000 households. The cost of printing this newspaper is supported by advertisements. Preparing for college in the best way can make all the difference to the family change and the student’s success in the early years of college.
