By signing up as a member of IUPUI University College Alumni on Facebook, you agree to the following terms and conditions of membership:

  1. Any IUPUI student, current or alumni, may request or be invited to join this group if:
    1. He or she has served or currently serves as a mentor within any approved University College mentoring program.
    2. He or she no longer serves as a mentor within any approved University College mentoring program, but remains in good standing with his or her former component director.
  2. All group members may post any comments to The Wall or to the group’s Discussion Board. Any comments that are deemed unprofessional, profane, abusive, violent, illegal, or otherwise defaming of IUPUI, University College, University College mentoring programs, staff, events, or other members will be removed by the administrator. The member may then be blocked from the group at the administrator’s discretion.
  3. Any photos or videos related to University College mentoring or events may be submitted to the administrator for approval to be posted on the group’s profile. If approved for posting, the administrator may remove the photos or videos at any time at his or her discretion.
  4. Any member may post an event in which they are involved or want to share with the group. Any posted events that are harmful or defaming to group members, IUPUI, University College, University College mentoring programs, or staff will be removed. The member who posts such an event may then be blocked at the discretion of the administrator.
  5. The administrator may not regulate any individual member’s content on their Facebook profile. However, if at any time the administrator becomes aware that any material posted on a member’s profile is visually or verbally unprofessional, profane, abusive, violent, illegal, or otherwise defaming of University College or University College mentoring programs, staff, or events, he or she will be requested to remove the material and may be blocked from membership in the group.
  6. All final decisions regarding membership in this group are at the discretion of the administrator, University College mentoring component directors, and the dean of University College.
