Middle/HS Students: 21st Century Scholars: Parent Programs
Increasing parental involvement and empowering parents is the cornerstone of the Twenty-first Century Scholars Parent Program. The goals of the Parent Program are to provide parents the skills and knowledge they need to make themselves educational leaders in their families and provide local parent groups the opportunity to be actively involved in the Twenty-first Century Scholars Program.
The Central Indiana Support site’s Parent Program works with parents in Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, and Shelby counties. The Parent Program has two components: Information and Volunteer.

**County Parent Leaders:
- Must be a parent of a Twenty-first Century Scholar
- Must have a positive relationship with your child's school
- Must have a strong committment to the Twenty-first Century Scholars Program
- Must maintain a record of volunteer hours
- Must be able to work with a diverse population in a professional manner
