SPAN

The Special Programs for Academic Nurturing (SPAN) Program at IUPUI allows pre-college age students to take actual college courses alongside college students. Developed in 1984, SPAN is designed to help motivated students either get a head start on their college education or take courses that are not offered at their high schools. There are two levels of entry into SPAN: the Running Start Program and the Upper Class Program. Acceptance is based upon years completed in high school and academic success.
