Students: Career Planning: On-Off Campus Employment

By working in a hourly, nondegreed position, a student can earn money to help offset the expenses of education. Our office works directly with campus departments and off-campus employers to help them promote their hourly, nondegreed opportunities to IUPUI students.

Employers are encouraged to post job openings through JagJobs, our online job and career resources database. Many different types of work are available, including administrative, customer service, health care, Web development, research, retail, maintenance/labor, education, and food service—just to name a few! Many employers on or off campus can be flexible around your class schedule. On-campus employers are most able to be flexible as they realize you are a student first and employee second.
