How do I find a job on or off-campus?
A lot of employers advertise job openings on-line on JagJobs.  This can be a great resource in starting your job search, however there are a variety of ways to search for a job  on or off-campus.

What types of jobs are listed?
There are many different types of jobs available. A few examples are: Administrative, Customer Service, Web Development, Research Assistants, Labor/Maintenance, Food Service and Retail.

Can I get a job that is flexible around my class schedule?
Many employers on or off-campus may be flexible around your class schedule. On-campus employers tend to be the most flexible because they realize you are a student first and an employee second.

How much do the jobs pay?
Hourly pay rates vary depending on job responsibilities and skill level required.

Do any jobs have benefits (medical, tuition assistance, etc.)?
On-campus, hourly positions for students do NOT offer benefits. However, many off-campus hourly positions do offer benefits such as tuition assistance, medical, 401K, parking, etc. If you would like to work full-time on-campus to be eligible to receive health & tuition benefits, check the job openings listed on-line through Human Resources.

What if an employer requests my resume and I do not have one?
You can find a lot of information on-line about how to write a resume. You may also want to consider attending a resume writing workshop  or visiting the Career Library located in University College, 3rd floor where there are several books on writing resumes and other career related topics.

How do I prepare for a job interview?
There is a lot of great information on-line about preparing for a job interview.  You may also want to consider attending an interviewing workshop  or visiting the Career Library located in University College, 3rd floor where there are several books on interviewing techniques and other career related topics.
