Ivy Tech Bowen Scholar or an Ivy Tech Bowen Scholar graduate
Successfully completed an associate degree with a GPA of 2.0 or better. Applicants in select Ivy Tech degree programs may qualify without earning an associate degree if they have successfully executed a transfer plan developed with the Office of IUPUI/Ivy Tech Coordinated Programs and approved by the Ivy Tech Bowen Scholars program manager.
U.S. citizens (permanent residents and green card holders do not qualify)
Completed FAFSA for the academic year of enrollment
Good standing with the financial aid office
Submitted all application checklist items (see checklist below)
Submit Ivy Tech and IUPUI transcripts

Two reference letters
Submit application form below and provide two reference letters and transcript to IUPUI Bowen Scholars Office in Taylor Hall B10 no later than April 1, 2018, to be considered for a fall scholarship award or November 1, 2017, for a spring scholarship award. Selected candidates will be invited to interview for the scholarship. Call (317) 278‐7564 with any questions.

The Bowen Scholars Committee reviews all applications received by the deadline and invites several applicants to be interviewed. Several interviewees will be selected for the Bowen Scholars Program.
The scholarship stipend can be used for living expenses and is disbursed in two payments per semester, contingent upon program participation. All participants must attend orientation, meetings, retreat, and service activities.
All participants must maintain a GPA of 2.0 and complete 18 credits per year (fall, spring, summer).
